Multi Pass gives you three picks in advance: one Tier 1 plus two Tier 2, or three Tier 2. Once you tap in and use a pick, tiers stop applying — the replacement can be anything still available. Animal Kingdom has no tiers, so all three picks come from one list.
Single Pass is bought separately, one ride at a time, and isn't part of Multi Pass. These sell out first, so book them the minute your window opens.
Booking opens at 7:00 a.m. Eastern — seven days before check-in if you're staying at a Disney resort, three days out otherwise.
The filters hide rides that match anything you tick. "Big drop" means a real drop (Tower of Terror, Everest, Tiana's); "small drops" covers coaster dips and flume bumps. Shows and slow boat rides that happen to be indoors are tagged "dark" too, so untick it if your kid only minds the fast ones.
Water park slides all get you wet, so they aren't tagged for it. Only Typhoon Lagoon's two big slides and Blizzard Beach's three have a height minimum; the rest are open to everyone, and a few are for small kids only.
Kids are measured at the ride entrance with shoes on and hats off. The wristband from the first ride carries over all day for anything at that height or below, so get measured early.
Rider Switch is offered at every ride with a height minimum. One adult rides while the other waits, then they swap without going back through the line.
